As the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon approached, the DIFC branch participated in the 2024 'Warm Spring Welcome, Joyful Spring Festival' grand parade organized by the local consulate. The event, attended by Mr. Zhang Yiming, Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, Mr. Li Xuhang, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Dubai, representatives from the UAE government, various friendly individuals, and nearly 4,000 guests from Chinese institutions, overseas Chinese, and others, garnered widespread attention and coverage from both domestic and international media.

The DIFC branch took this opportunity to enhance its local brand influence and actively promote new financial initiatives, RMB internationalization, and ESG practices. The branch not only organized employees in the corporate parade, showcasing activities beneath the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, to share in the celebration of the Chinese New Year and enjoy the festive season, but also effectively promoted cross-cultural exchange and contributed to fostering friendly relations between China and the UAE. The branch also set up a dedicated corporate booth, exhibiting for the entire four-day event, surpassing expectations.

The booth, themed "Green Finance," conveyed China Construction Bank's (CCB) new financial service concepts to the UAE population and local compatriots, showcasing CCB's comprehensive financial service capabilities and international brand image. During the exhibition, the DIFC branch provided information and answered questions for the guests and clients, introducing various financial services offered by the branch. The branch also highlighted CCB's "Global Matchmaking Platform" for Chinese-funded enterprises, sharing the achievements of RMB internationalization. To emphasize the bank's commitment to social responsibility and vividly promote ESG principles, the branch actively supported products from CCB's poverty-alleviation partner regions; distributed the symbolizing Sino-Arab friendship, panda and camel dolls, along with eco-friendly water bottles and bags promoting green travel as a reward by conducting environmentally themed quizzes and cultural exchanges with children and international friends participating in on-site interactions, receiving widespread praise.

In 2024, the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE. As the first branch in the Middle East under China Construction Bank's layout, the DIFC branch will seize this excellent opportunity to continuously enhance service levels, expand business areas, actively fulfill social responsibilities, and contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative's high-quality development, the stable advancement of Sino-Arab financial cooperation, and the promotion of sustainable social development.
